Thames & Severn Canal

Thames & Severn Canal

At just over 28 miles long, the Thames & Severn Canal is the easten section of a waterway that is referred to as the "Cotswold Canals". It meets the Stroudwater Navigation at Stroud.

On the Thames & Severn Canal, Cotswold Canal Trust volunteers continued work in 2020 at Weymoor Bridge, and at Inglesham Lock invasive plant species clearance and tree management took place. Closer to Stroud, volunteers continued dredging all the way to Thrupp, with winding holes and landing stages being placed to allow for craft to navigate.
