Thames & Severn Canal
The brand-new depot is up and running, with new volunteers joining the trust and logging starting up again. The team is looking forward to getting stuck into some true restoration projects in the coming year, including improving a towpath alongside the lakes.
The new visitor centre in the heart of the Cotswold Lakes development is now in its second year and the trust is expanding audiences to east, building relationships with partners and benefitting from support from new communities.

April 2024
On the Thames & Severn Canal, Cotswold Canal Trust volunteers continued work in 2020 at Weymoor Bridge, and at Inglesham Lock invasive plant species clearance and tree management took place. Closer to Stroud, volunteers continued dredging all the way to Thrupp, with winding holes and landing stages being placed to allow for craft to navigate.
